Planning a wedding involves many many details – some small and some huge. This is a guide to help you figure out every detail so that your big day goes off without any issues!
Question 1: What’s your goal? Do you want a huge, lavish wedding? A small, private ceremony? Sit down with your fiance and decide what your wedding dream is.
Question 2: What is your budget? Your finances are basically the deciding factor in how your wedding will turn out. Do you have an endless budget? A strict budget?
Question 3: What is the date? Planning a summer/beach wedding or a Winter Wonderland wedding? The date is a huge question that should be answered as your entire timeline revolves around it (and so does your budget as wedding season is more expensive than off season)
Question 4: What kind of wedding do you want? Do you want a beach wedding, a garden wedding, a church wedding, council hall wedding, vineyard wedding, big event wedding etc. Work out what kind of wedding you want to set the tone for your planning.
Question 5: Bridal Party Members? Have you picked a Maid of Honor? Best Man? This is something that should be spoken about with your fiance as the bridal party is important to the entire event.
Question 6: Think LIST: What needs to be done? Make a giant check list for every single thing that you can think of. Things that should be done 6 months ahead of time down to 2 hours ahead of time and start checking as you go!
Question 7: Think negatives. What do you NOT want? Make a list of things such as Alcohol? Garter Toss? If you don’t want it at your ceremony/reception, nix the idea and move on! It’s YOUR special day!
